This is a genetic requirement for the treatment. If you don't have this specific HLA type, the therapy cannot be used. You may need genetic testing if this hasn't been done before.

HLA-A*02:01 is a genetic marker required for this specific TCR T cell therapy to work. The engineered T cells are designed to recognize cancer cells only in patients with this genetic type.
